For simplifying an expression, we need to first deal with the brackets and for dealing with brackets, we need to multiply anything behind them to all the things inside the brackets each by each, and then we have to collect like terms. like terms are those terms with the same variables, like X squared, is like term X squared and X cube is like term with X cube and Y is like term with Y. everything of the variable must be exactly same with each other. Then we can collect those like terms with adding or subtracting coefficient of them. That’s how we simplify an expression.
